THE BEST I've had a few prenatal massages now as most of my pain from pregnancy is carried in my back. This was by far the absolute best!! You can really tell the difference between somebody who occasionally does maternity massage and someone who has made it their specialty. I find that a lot of massage therapist are afraid of pregnant women and so the massage isn't quite up to what I'm looking for. that was not the case here!! I already have another scheduled with plans for many more. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience!

Seriously Amazing! My only regret is that I didn't find Jessica sooner! I had several prenatal massages throughout my pregnancy, and was left disappointed after each one. I finally found Jessica, and after reading a ton of her wonderful reviews decided to book an appointment. I had my massage with her at 38 weeks, and truly cannot say enough about how great my massage was. I finally felt LIGHT (which is not something traditionally associated with pregnancy, ha!) I immediately booked another 90 minute massage for the following week, because it was that wonderful. Its evident she is way more knowledgable than most therapists at other locations that do not specialize in prenatal massages. She is so friendly and kind, and it was such a lovely experience. Do not wait, book your appointment as soon as you can!

Wonderful! Jessica did such an amazing job and was well organized with starting and during my prenatal message. Jessica was able to reposition me without wasting anytime and using up any of my time for the message. She did an amazing job with helping loosen tightened areas as well as relief stressed area in my back that I was having from my pregnancy. I highly recommend Jessica and her services. I did have to travel from the north shore to the south shore to recieve service and it was well worth the trip.

Ahhhhh Mazing!! I have had several massages this pregnancy. I'm now 35 weeks pregnant and this by far (other than one I had in Disney) has been the best one yet. Fertility Massage My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for about a year with no luck. One night I was researching more natural approaches to help boost fertility and came across the benefits of a fertility massage and found Jessica’s website. Great prenatal massage I had previously had a prenatal massage at another spa in New Orleans. They don't specialize in prenatal, and it shows. Jessica at Maternal Instincts did an amazing job, marked difference from experience with other spa. Jessica focused on my hips, lower back and shoulders. I highly recommend!

Wonderful! Jessica is just the nicest person. She made me completely at ease and explained how the massage would work. She spoke with me prior to the massage to find out any problems I was having and what I ultimately wanted out of the massage. I chose the 1.5 hrs and it was the greatest. So relaxing. At 38 weeks pregnant, feeling relaxed is not a feeling you have often. After this massage I felt energized and slept though the entire night without any aches or pains. I would recommend Jessica to anyone and everyone. Scheduling could not have been easier.

Lifesaver before and after baby! Jessica worked wonders on my aching back and hips when I was pregnant and now 5 months after birth she still makes me feel amazing! A lifesaver I wasn't able to sleep well because of the pain in my neck, shoulder, arm and back. I did one 30-min session with Jessica, and I slept like a baby that night. Her home set up is beautiful and very relaxing and I couldn't have asked for a better way to take care of me while I carry my little one. So relaxing! I received two prenatal massages from Nola Maternal Instincts towards the end of my second pregnancy. One at 37 weeks and one at 39 weeks. Both were heavenly and made me so relaxed and comfortable that I forgot I was pregnant for the hour I was there! The massages also relieved some of the back pain I had been having.

Best massage ever...perfect for pregnancy and beyond I am 38 weeks pregnant and did the 75 minute prenatal massage. Jessica made sure that she focused on helping me relax, kept me in safe pregnancy positions using the right amount of pressure around specific areas, and even providing the right amount of support via pillows and props. NOLA Maternal Instincts is very knowledgeable about a pregnant woman's body and needs and made sure I was comfortable, relaxed, and felt at ease throughout the entire massage. Happy & Relaxed Mama! I wanted to get a massage, but am currently breastfeeding and don't like to lie on my stomach. I was concerned that most spas wouldn't be able to accommodate me, but I asked around and some ladies recommended Jessica at NOLA Maternal Instincts. I called to talk with her before I scheduled my appointment and she walked me through how the massage would be done without lying on my stomach. Excellent! My husband bought me a package of 3 prenatal massages her, and I had Erica for all of them. While each one was great and made me so relaxed, the most recent one I had at 36.5 weeks was the best by far! My ankles/feet were swollen and I felt like I couldn't get comfortable, even enough for a nap, but Erica's massage totally relaxed me and I actually slept during part of it. The soothing music helps, and I think baby liked it too. I highly recommend at least 3 of these massages through your pregnancy!

Quiet and Soothing I haven't been in the habit of spending extra money on doing things for myself with the baby on the way, but I am so glad I got to experience this massage. Just what I needed! At 36 weeks pregnant, I was skeptical to pay for another massage. I had one at a ritzy hotel in Biloxi and it was awful. It was basically a fancy back scratch. I went to nola maternal instincts with low expectations and was absolutely blown away! Erika was amazing! The entire massage was such a relaxing experience. She was able to relieve my knots that were causing me to be uncomfortable. I have already booked an appointment to return next week. Highly highly recommended!

Massage with Jessica I really enjoyed my session with Jessica a couple of weeks ago for my 90 minute massage. My massage was wonderful and truly helped me feel refreshed and renewed. I have another appt this week and plan to see her every few weeks throughout my pregnancy. I feel the better I take care of myself thru my pregnancy, the longer I can continue to do all my normal everyday activities from work to working out. I am also a licensed massage therapist and feel the only way I will be able to work thru most of my pregnancy will be having routine bodywork by a licensed therapist certified in prenatal massage.

AWESOME!!!!!!! I went in for a day of relaxation, and I left feeling like a new woman. I've had massages before (none prenatal) however i love my pressure hard, this was the first time I did not wake up sore the next day. Erica was my masseuse, and although she has her little baby bump she makes sure that your experience is strictly about you and your little bundle. They were so eager to find out about your pregnancy and made you feel so excited to have something so sweet growing inside of you. Very Satisfied Yesterday was my second time visiting NOLA maternal instincts. When I walked in,Jessica immediately greeted me and asked how my pregnancy was going. She also asked what area I'd like to focus in on. She remembered what kind of pressure that was comfortable for me. I was impressed with how much she remembered about me as an individual. The massage itself was so relaxing that I didn't have a care in the world,there were no distractions whatsoever. Yes this place exists off of a busy main Boulevard, but the experience inside drowns it out completely. I highly recommend this place and hope that I can come here postpartum as well. I have had other massages at a few other places in the area,but this place and this masseuse are the absolute best.I cannot say enough about this place.this place had been a saving grace for me. As many of my regular clients know, I have been getting increasingly busier and my schedule has been getting full pretty quickly!  I have often said that I either need to clone myself so I can be in two places at once, OR find another therapist to help me whose massage is extremely similar to mine.  After much searching, I have finally found her!!  Erika is an incredible therapist and has a touch that is warm and therapeutic. 

She received her very first massage EVER at NOLA Maternal Instincts when she was pregnant, and after she gave birth she decided that she wanted to be able to help women the same way, so she went to massage school!!  Erika is now a Licensed Massage Therapist and has successfully completed her Prenatal Massage Training. 

 I absolutely love her work and I feel so great after each massage that I've received from her.  I urge you to try her out, you will not be disappointed!!

Best massage ever! Anyone looking for pre maternity,maternity,or post maternity massage, this is the place to go. Before getting my massage here, I hadn't slept through the night for two weeks, and after my massage, I made it all the way through the night! The environment was relaxing and clean. It was the perfect amount of pressure, and it really allowed for you to relax because Jessica knew exactly what she was doing. I would recommend this place to all my female friends.

Wonderful prenatal massage! I had the best massage with Jessica at NOLA Maternity Instincts! I am 25 weeks pregnant and it was just what I needed. I first went to Jessica about 2 years ago when I was pregnant with my first son and am so glad that she is still there! The massage center is very easy to get to -- off of North Causeway -- and I cannot describe how comfy the room is where she gives the massages! The bed, pillows and overall ambiance are so relaxing! And her massage techniques are perfect for a prenatal visit. I definitely recommend this place - even if you are not pregnant! It is a nice, quiet, relaxing break from the day!

Massage--short?/sore I really enjoyed my first maternal massage-- it was long over due. Although the beginning was heavenly, the end might have been rushed. Admittedly I got caught to traffic and was a bit late for my appt. but I am pretty sure my massage was very much not the full hour. My legs and hips were sore after and I can't tell if that was because they were started but not finished entirely. Hard to say, but had a hard time walking and moving after. And prior the massage i haven't had any mobility issues in my pregnancy like that.

Thankful for strength I have now recieved treatment from both therapists and couldn't be more pleased. Highly Recommend NOLA Maternal Instincts has been my go to place for massage for the last two years. I first went for fertility massage while my husband and I were having trouble conceiving and found it to be a very calming and reassuring experience. Once I did become pregnant I returned frequently to help with the aches and pains of my changing body. I always felt very comfortable with Jessica as she is quite knowledgeable about what is safest for you and your baby during pregnancy. Now that my baby is over a year old, I still go to Jessica because she is such a skilled massage therapist. I highly recommend NOLA Maternal Instincts.

best massage EVER Review of Jessica Heno I had massages by Jessica early in my second trimester and again at 37weeks. Both were outstanding. I left feeling rejuvenated and pain free. Unlike all the other massages I've had in the past, Jessica actually focused on problem areas we discussed with the exact pressure I requested. It is obvious how knowledgable she is in prenatal massage. The environment was relaxing and positioning was super comfortable. My only regret is that I wasn't able to come in more often during my pregnancy, but will definitely be a returning customer.

Relaxing! I went for a massage late in my pregnancy and enjoyed it so much! I didn't want to leave as I felt so comfortable, relaxed and my body felt great. I haven't had too many massages and Jessica made me feel very comfortable. It wasn't like going to a regular shop/spa with many people around, which I don't like. Much more homey feel and way more comfortable with just one on one atmosphere. I liked it so much I bought another massage.

Heavenly After finding out I was pregnant with twins, I knew I needed to find ways to relax. After all, I have a full-time job, my 4 year old and my 1 year old that all keep me beyond busy. I had planned to return to see Jessica but the pregnancy was draining me and it took until my 22nd week to visit. Twin pregnancy has been so hard on my body and my mind. I knew that these massages were perfect because I saw Jessica throughout my second pregnancy and was hooked. After leaving my massage on Friday, I felt like a new person. My body felt rejuvenated, my mind felt relaxed and it's been awhile since I felt like that. I plan to return throughout the remainder of this pregnancy because there is nothing better than feeling rejuvenated when your body is working triple time.

Wonderful experience! I had an amazing massage with Jessica. I came to see her the morning of my due date, as I wanted to do everything I could to get labor started before my doctor set an induction date. The massage was great! Jessica really knows how to deal with pregnant bodies, and has the perfect set-up. And I don't know if its her massage during which she tried to stimulate certain oxytocin points, the long walk I took later that day, or the spicy food I had, or maybe a combination of the 3, but I was had my first contractions at 5:30a the following day! I highly recommend Nola Maternal Instincts.

Postpartum Massage Had a wonderful and much needed postpartum massage by Jessica 3 months after I gave birth. Always the best I started going to Jessica, early on in my pregnancy for back pain, and from the first massage I knew that I had really lucked out. She is so sweet and really does and amazing job. First Prenatal Massage Thankfully, I have had a pretty uneventful an easy pregnancy. It was not until the third trimester that I began to experience any discomfort. It was this discomfort that led me to book my first prenatal massage (and first massage in years for that matter). It was an extremely enjoyable experience and I haven't had any of the low back pain I had been experiencing previously, since my massage. Incredible!! Jessica was wonderful!! The massage was better than I hoped for! It was 90 minutes of complete bliss during what is sometimes a very uncomfortable time during pregnancy (I'm 29 weeks). Best massages ever! These are the best massages I've ever gotten. And I've been to those well-known spas around town, but Maternal Instincts knows their clients and makes the whole experience very comfortable. Every woman (rather pregnant or not) needs to treat themselves to Maternal Instincts. I can't say enough about how happy I am every time I leave there. I'll never go to another spa for a massage. I found the best thing in town.

First prenatal massage This is the first prenatal massage I've ever had, and the first massage I've had in a long time. It was great! Jessica made sure I was comfortable with positioning & room temp throughout the service. The massage was very relaxing & helped relieve aches in my back & shoulders. I can't wait to go back!

Prenanal Massage Such a wonderful experience! From start to finish, it was such a relaxing and enjoyable massage! I think I even dozed off for a few minutes which was awesome considering I haven't had much sleep with a 13 month old running around and being in my 2nd trimester with baby no.2. Best Message ever! Jessica is awesome! I am a fi believer of getting massages while pregnant and I would only go to Nola Maternal instincts to get them. Especially in the third trimester, a massage is the only way I ever really rest! She always listens to what I need out of a massage! I have referred her to all my preggo friends!

Pregnancy Massage I went in with extreme lower back pain from severe lordosis plus a severe case of fibromyalgia due to previous car accidents! I was in so much pain when I went in and running on basically no sleep for 2 days! When I left I was in no pain and I have not felt that fantastic in a long time! Jessica is amazing and anyone that is pregnant needs to please come here you will never regret it! This is someone who has lived in constant pain since I was 21 and now 36! I will definitely be coming back and pregnant ladies that come to Jessica please spread the word all pregnant ladies should have the opportunity to feel that fabulous.

Prenatal Massage I had the most amazing 60 min massage by Jessica on Friday! I am 34 weeks and overextended myself with too much walking last weekend. She transformed me into a relaxed and rejuvenated mom-to-be! I don't know why I waited so long to get a massage but I will surely be coming back to relieve the aches and pains of this beautiful pregnancy.
Best Massage I've Ever Had! I am 35 weeks and had a massage this weekend. I can honestly say that it was the best massage I've ever had. Highly recommend! A car accident left me with muscle pain, even 5 years after! When my pregnant belly started to be a real burden for my already sore back, I searched online for relief. After much research, I gave NOLA Maternal Instincts a try. It was a much needed blessing! Place was nice, clean and relaxing. I was never put face down on the massage table, but surrounded securely by pillows. My belly was gently caressed if requested (baby used to love it), and sessions were adapted to my specific needs. It was so good, I ended up going back every month until I gave birth! Two years after, I can still book an appointment, relax, enjoy a professional massage, and receive much needed relief. Also, the new place is more spacious, accessible and very relaxing. You will not regret visiting NOLA Maternal Instincts! Is amazing service at affordable prices. Thank you very much Jessica! Mellowed out me and the baby I had a massage with Jessica when I was 38 weeks pregnant. Felt so much better that I was giggly for the rest of the day. Am definitely thinking of making another appointment for after the baby's born.

The atmosphere is warm, comfortable and homely which makes unwinding all the easier. She definately caters to pregnant women & someone who isn't pregnant. I've been for both. I'm 3 weeks away from having my son and its very hard for me to get comfortable. However, when Jessica was doing a full body massage I was very comfortable & relaxed. This is the 2nd time ive had a massage by her (1st time I wasnt pregnant) & both time she was great and my expectations were met! I plan on going back when I get a chance!
